Hand Stripping
Hand stripping maintains the proper coat texture of wire-coated breeds and some silky coats such as the Airedale, Border Terrier and Irish Setter. The colour of a hand-stripped coat is ‘brilliant’ in comparison to that of a clipped dog, which is ‘dull’.
